The North Shore Community Centre is host to carpet bowling Mondays and Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m. About 16 people turn out for each session to compete on three indoor carpets. Carpet bowling in Kamloops started with one carpet at Northills Shopping Centre in the mid 1990s. The sport will be included in the B.C. Seniors Games in Kamloops in August.
