A Kamloops builder is among 23 finalists named for the 2009 CHBA National Home Builder SAM Awards of Excellence.
Mibroc Construction Ltd. is one of five finalists named in the Best Single Family Detached Home over 4,000 Sq. Ft. for its entry The Ranch Manor.
“This fabulous home won a Keystone Award earlier this year and is a finalist for the regional TOMMIE awards as well as the provincial Georgie Awards, so I am not surprised that it would rank among the best at a national level,” said Patsy Bourassa, executive officer.
CHBA National SAM Awards will be presented at the Association’s 67th National Conference on March 6 in Victoria.
CHBA president Gary Friend said there is tremendous spirit in the competition.
“It reflects just how coveted the National SAMs have become for new home builders, renovators and developers,” he said. “The competition is fierce and the quality of the entries received from across Canada is truly outstanding.”
