Creston Town Council and the Trails Committee will apply for three separate grants to extend the Millennium Park trail, council decided at Tuesday’s regular meeting.
Applications to the Union of BC Municipalities, Creston-Kootenay Foundation and Columbia Basin Trust will be sent in an effort to raise nearly $20,000. Funding would allow for completion of the Rotary Centennial Trail and a library loop, as well as some improvements to the existing portion of the trail constructed by the Creston Rotary Club.
