CIBC will build a new branch in Sahali this year.
The corporation said Wednesday it will construct a 6,100-square-foot branch on Columbia Street, south of Notre Dame Drive.
Mike Stevenson, CIBC’s senior vice-president of retail markets for Western Canada, said the bank will hire staff in Kamloops. It will offer banking services six days a week as well as a drive-thru ATM.
The Kamloops branch is one of 20 new or expanded locations announced by CIBC Wednesday.
