The Grand Forks & Boundary Regional Agricultural Society (GFBRAS) and Kettle River Community Garden Group would like to acknowledge the tremendous support of the City of Grand Forks. Mayor Brian Taylor and the councillors gave us a great site in Ruckle and additional support for water and fencing. This garden will serve as a great learning center for gardeners of all ages (Future Boundary Growers) and local producers as well. Learning about water conservation, new composting techniques, crop alternatives, and how climate change will impact current gardening practices as climate change will indeed affect us all.
This information will help our region to become the agricultural center it once was. Without this support the Kettle River Community Garden would not be moving forward.
