MELVIN EDWARD ZIBIN

Melvin Zibin

Born on September 3, 1953, in Grand Forks, B.C., to Evelyn and Nick W. Zibin, Mel passed away peacefully on May 17, 2010, at Surrey Memorial Hospital.

Leaving behind to treasure his memory are his wife, Jean, of 20 years; her adult children, Suzanne and Paul with grandchildren: Breanne, Graeme, Malcolm and Callum; sister, Terri (Brian) Kohlman of Medicine Hat, Alberta, and her sons, Adrian and Cody Painter along with Adrian’s three-year-old son, Aden; brother, Joel (Susan) and their daughters, Kimberly and Marina, all in Cranbrook, B.C.; many friends, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Mel’s wishes were to not have a formal service. The family will have a celebration of Mel’s life later this summer. An open invitation will be posted in the Grand Forks Gazette.
