Atamanenko a hard worker

Federal Politics

Unlike Stephen Hill, the PC candidate, we know that Alex Atamanenko is a hard worker. Those who have followed him know he has, in many ways, tried to keep in touch with us all. He tackled the issues that concern us most: unemployment, housing, poverty and health care and many other issues, as well.

Both provincial and federal governments are responsible for mills and plant closures as they permit logs, along with jobs, to be shipped out of the country. Schools and hospitals are closed because of government waste and misdirected spending. Corporate greed is fed while the needs of the people are ignored. A glaring example is the minimum wage that has stayed the same for almost 10 years while prices on many items have almost tripled.

The provincial and federal governments have created loop-holes for corporations to grab workers’ pension funds as they claim bankruptcies and/or transfer title. Mr. Hill demonstrates the extent of the manipulation by Mr. Day and the prime minister to provide a climate favourable for his businesses. Talk about vote buying.

Thankfully, the voters are aware of what the federal and provincial governments have not done for us. Like the HST, they are taking our money and more and more people – the unemployed, seniors and the disabled – are driven deeper into poverty.

At least we’ve got Alex speaking out on our behalf and working for all of us.
