To the Editor:
We came home from Randy and Sheila’s farm with a cooler bulging with farm-raised chickens. Four went into the freezer, one into the oven. Added to the food experience were locally grown cheese and strawberries, salad greens, asparagus and white wine. We felt superior to kings and presidents.
Thank you to the Creston Valley growers. We appreciate your sunup to sundown dedication to quality despite changing weather patterns and market policies that favour the big producers. We, and other Creston Valley food-lovers, happily anticipate the opening of the Creston Valley Farmers Market.
