AILEEN HELEN GRASER


Aileen Graser

Aileen Helen Graser passed away at Durand Manor, Golden, B.C., on Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at the age of 91 years.

Aileen was born at Luseland, Saskatchewan, on May 13, 1919. She had lived in Alberta, Golden, Creston, Rossland, Trail and Grand Forks, and returned to Golden seven years ago. A very loving and social person involved in many clubs and community groups, Aileen had worked as a Nurse's Aid, and as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Aileen was very energetic. She enjoyed gardening and generously supplied her family and friends with vegetables and canning. She also enjoyed travelling, music and her cats.

Aileen will be lovingly remembered by her children: Henry Larwill of Golden, Helen Marasco of Golden, Marion (Dieter) Schoeler of Salmon Arm and Joan (Colin) Baylis of Salmon Arm; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands, Joe Larwill and Joe Graser, and by her grandchild, Marie.

A funeral service will be held from Golden Seniors' Centre on Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at 1 p.m., with Pastor Richard Campeau officiating. Interment will follow in the Golden Community Cemetery.

If so desired, contributions in memory of Aileen may be made to the charity of your choice.
