Creston family looking for missing memorial

Members of the Vigne family are looking for a memorial that disappeared within the last month.

Honouring Rob Vigne, who died in 2002, a memorial featuring a plaque and an elk about a foot long and 10 inches high was placed at Keanie’s hole, near Kitchener, where he and his siblings swam when they were kids.

“Whenever I’m home, mom and I go out, and mom can drive there herself,” said Vigne’s sister, Rona Correale, who lives in Armstrong.

Correale said the memorial was there when she visited in June, but was not there on the weekend.

Anyone with information is asked to call Bob and Ethel Vigne at 250-428-5760 or Rona Correale at 250-546-8009.
