Local shooters compete at Nationals

Shooters from across Canada and the U.S. just south of the border met at the Heffley Creek range in Kamloops to compete in the Canadian Silhouette Championships on July 18, 19 and 20th. Four competitors from the local Bull River Shooters Association came home with some of the top awards in their respective divisions. In the B class standard rifle division Angie Graham took three 1st place match awards placing her 1st aggregate B class Champion. Placing second in the same class was Deni Marsh with three 2nd place finishes and the 2nd place aggregate trophy. In the AA class standard rifle Oliver Graham walked away with a 2nd place and a 3rd place medal as well as 1st and two 3rd place finishes in the AA hunting rifle class giving him the 3rdplace aggregate spot. Also, in the AAA standard rifle, Jeramey Marsh took a 5th place medal and in hunting rifle class 2nd place match award and finished 3rd overall in the aggregate standings out of the 15 AAA shooters in that division.

Next years Nationals will be held at the Rosebud Range in Alberta.
