The Kamloops Project is on YouTube.
Many residents know the project — which will be officially unveiled in September — only by name. Part sociological study, part anthropological documentary, The Kamloops Project is about bringing together the thoughts, feelings and actions of the people who live here.
Now we can reveal a little more about it, thanks in part to a quirky, fun video developed by The Daily News project team for YouTube.
Readers can watch the video on The Daily News YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/user/KamNews. If you like it, add a comment or two. If you don't, be gentle — this is our first foray into the world of audio/visual media.
And, if the YouTube video piques your curiosity, stop by our project website at www.kamloopsproject.ca, You'll find a sneak peek at what we're planning for Oct. 19.
Today's We Say editorial on page A6 also talks a little more about the video and the project.
