    Care at Royal Inland exemplary

We have recently read some letters to the editor complaining about the treatment offered by the staff at Royal Inland Hospital Emergency Department and we feel compelled to share our own experience.

Like many families in the community, we have required the services of the emergency department and other departments within RIH over the years, including just recently.

On each of these occasions, we have found the service and care to be nothing short of exemplary. The doctors and the nurses were professional in every sense. They were compassionate, caring, and highly attentive to our medical needs.

During our visits to the emergency department, we have also witnessed the doctors and nurses offer this same quality of service to the many other patients being treated, even during times when the emergency ward was full, patient emotions were running high, and the staff themselves were not being treated with respect.

Although we would like to personally thank each of the professionals who assisted us during our recent attendance at the hospital, there are too many to list.  Please know that we thank each of them from the bottom of our hearts.
