The TRU WolfPack men’s basketball team has signed its second recruit for the 2012-13 Canada West season.
WolfPack head coach Scott Clark announced Monday that Tre Haslom of Marysville, Wash., has committed.
The 6-foot-4 guard/forward spent last season with the Olympic Community College Rangers of the NWAACC. Haslom played 25 games last season, averaging 11.68 points and 3.80 rebounds.
“He is quite a good athlete with good length,” said WolfPack head coach Scott Clark, in a news release. “He can shoot the basketball. He is quite skilled and (can) put the ball on the floor. We are hoping that he can embrace the role of being a defender with his size and quickness. He could do a good job in that regard.”
The WolfPack announced earlier this month that Kenny Monture, a centre from Terrace, has committed to TRU. The Canada West season is to start in the fall.
