The TRU WolfPack will become the first team in the Canadian College Baseball Conference to webcast games when it plays the visiting Prairie Baseball Academy Dawgs today at NorBrock Stadium.
The WolfPack is planning to webcast all of its home games. Game time today is 6 p.m.
The Dawgs are the CCBC’s defending champions.
The webcasts will feature Nathan Crosby calling the play for April games. A fourth-year jounalism student and the sports editor of the TRU student newspaper, The Omega, Crosby has been the voice of WolfPack volleyball and basketball webcasts for the last two seasons.

Sera Nami of Kamloops finished in the top third of the field at the provincial Canadian Cadet Movement (CCM) shoot at the cadet base in Vernon.
Nami, who is from the 204 Black Maria Royal Canadian Air Cadets in Kamloops, placed 25th out of 75 shooters.
Earlier this year, she competed in zones and finished sixth in a field of more than 100. That performance allowed her to advance to provincials.

Tyson Gillies of Kamloops was 0-4 with a strikout on Thursday as the Reading Phillies opened the Double-A Eastern League regular season with a 4-2 victory over the visiting Portland Sea Dogs.
Gillies, who has battled leg and hamstring problems for two years, played centre field.
The Phillies won the game when right-fielder Leandro Castro broke a 2-2 tie with a one-out, two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth.
Gillies didn’t play in the second game of the doubleheader, which the Phillies won, 6-4.

Adult drop-in hockey has been extended until the end of May at Valleyview Arena.
The sessions are held Mondays and Thursdays, 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. The fee is $6 and full equipment is required.
