Seven weeks of Boogie training culminated in a great run Sunday — I did it!
Wasn’t sure how it would all pan out when this started, whether my knee, ankle or work schedule would make training impossible, but for all those busy folk out there like me, it can be done.
Running the five kilometres was easy, even though I broke a sweat, and I am definitely going to continue running as a way of staying fit and healthy. On the recommendation of another runner, I’ve downloaded an app for my iPhone to track my runs and times so I can set new goals and am pumped to keep going.
Can see 10K on the horizons for next year and am eternally grateful to Jo Berry and the encouraging Boogie team for making us all feel like we could do it. Boogie on!
