Arts Briefs: Project X looking for temporary home

Project X Theatre Company has a few good actors looking for a place to live.

The actors will require a three- or four-bedroom house, furnished and on the South Shore, from June 15 until Aug. 12, director Derek Rein said in a press release.

Rein said the actors will be in rehearsal eight hours a day, six days a week for the first five weeks and then in performances from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m., six days a week for three weeks.

If anyone has a vacancy they are asked to contact Rein at 250-682-9055.

X Fest 2012, featuring Romeo and Juliet and James and the Giant Peach takes place July 18 to Aug. 11 in Prince Charles Park.

Still time to visit Putnam County

There’s only three more days left to catch Western Canada Theatre’s production of the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

The hit musical has been entertaining sold-out audiences at the Pavilion Theatre since it premiered on April 19. Organizers hope to continue this trend and end the 2011-2012 season on a high note.

Putnam County Spelling Bee closes May 12. Tickets are available at Kamloops Live! Box Office.
