GoGo Grannies

Thank you to the businesses and the ladies in the community who came out and supported our Annual Go Go Grannies Brunch. It is because of all of you that it was even more successful than previous years.

The ladies is our group couldn't be more pleased how the event went, thank you all so much.

Thank you to Rachel Parson's who spoke about what it is like living and working in the Sub-Sahara, an excellent talk.

Thank you to Lana Kirk who chaired our event, a job well done.

Thank you to Jay Savage for doing our live auction items.

Some items which were donated was an original painting by our local artists, Reg Parsons and Marilyn Oliver.

Bev Roberts donated a print of a puppy as well.

Robert Bateman donated a lovely numbered and signed print of a female Cardinal. This picture looked wonderful in the frame which was done beautifully by John from Family Framing.

Dr. Laura Zeznick donated a beautiful diamond and Ruby ring which raised a lot of funds as well.

In all, the monies brought in last year was $5,716.95 this year we were well above that because of everyone's support which totalled $7,108.

The Go Go Grannies from the East Kootenay couldn't be more proud of their hard work. Good job, ladies.
