It's time to say goodbye. I have lived in this beautiful city for 31 years and I have to leave. I'll miss the sunshine and the balmy summer nights, but most of all I'll miss the wonderful people.
Goodbye to all the friends I've met at Bowlertime, Avon, Sweet Adelines, and Shear Illusions in the 1980s. Goodbye to friends at Kamloops Funeral Home, Trudy's Sandwich Shop, Hub City Singers in the 1990s. To my families at Westsyde Baptist and Kamloops Evangelical Free Churches.
Thanks for all the great times I've had here. The schools were wonderful to my children — David Thompson, Westsyde secondary and UCC.
My final goodbye is to my piano and guitar students. There are hundreds of you out there. Keep filling the world with love and music.
This is a great place to live. I will miss it!
