Local tech entrepreneurs or anyone with an interest in technology is invited to connect with other like minds at the TechBrew gathering being put on by the Kamloops Innovation Centre today.
It’s a chance for the tech community to get together, exchange ideas and learn about products from companies based in Kamloops, Kelowna and Salmon Arm.
It’s from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Noble Pig, tickets available online (kamloopstechbrew.eventbrite.com) for $20 or $30 at the door.
The innovation centre describes itself as a “non-profit technology incubator” that helps new entrepreneurs with a wide range of backgrounds jump-start their business.
Last year’s event drew 100 people from the Interior’s high-tech community and the centre expects a similar turnout this year.
