Volunteers make the calls between 9 a.m and 11 a.m. Monday through Friday, according to the client’s preferences. If the client is unable to be reached, then an emergency contact person, arranged in advance, or a staff member will be called to check on the well-being of the client. Emergency steps taken if necessary.

Timeraiser: Volunteers needed on Wednesday June 20 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to help with venue setup, hanging artwork, organizing tickets, handouts, tables and running last-minute errands. Between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m., volunteers are needed for greeting participants, to act as silent auction marshals, help with registration and answer questions related to the event (information about event provided). People are also required to assist with tallying the auction biding. More information about this event can be found at kamloops.timeraiser.ca

The Shayla Rae Dawn Driver Memorial Bursary Fundraiser:  Looking to fill a variety of positions for mature and positive people for Saturday, July 14. Volunteers are needed to help set up and tear down event, manage booths, handle cash and do face painting.

Big brothers Big Sisters of Kamloops and Region: Special-event volunteers needed for July 12, July 19 and Aug. 16 at Riverside Park to assist with set-up/take down, concession, activity booths and garbage cleanup. Looking for volunteers who enjoy working with the public and willing to represent our agency.
