The Kamloops Rattlers No. 1, with Reed Watson in goal for all three games, picked up three weekend victories to finish atop the Thompson Okanagan Lacrosse league standings with an 11-1 record.
As the top regular-season team, the Rattlers take the No. 1 seed into this weekend’s playoffs.
The Rattlers got two goals apiece from Mason Swanton, Noah Bradley and Trey Dergousoff to defeat host Kelowna No. 2, 8-5 on Saturday morning. Dergousoff also picked up four assists, Harrison Ewert had a goal and two assists, and Jarrod Semchuk tallied once. Tye Kitamura earned the hardest-working player hardhat.
Later Saturday in Summerland, the Rattlers got three goals from Dergousoff in a 9-3 triumph over Penticton No. 1. Bradley, with two, Ewert, Swanton, Semchuk and Emmett Kulchyski also scored, and Ethan Hardy won the hardhat.
On Sunday at McArthur Island, Ewert scored four times as the Rattlers downed North Okanagan No. 2, 11-3. Landon Kinney added a hat trick, Kulchyski had two goals, and Dergousoff and Michael Nolander scored one apiece. Swanton had three assists, and Bradley set up two goals. R.J. Gerow won the hardhat.

The Rattlers No. 2 picked up a tie and a victory in weekend play.
They opened with a 6-6 tie with host Kelowna on Saturday.
Jax Anderson, with two, Devin Caldwell, Cooper Kenzie, Jackson Steed and Caleb Campbell scored for the Rattlers, with Campbell tying it late in the game.
Kamloops goaltender Brendan Hunchak made several key saves, including one while diving across the net on his knees with less than 20 seconds to play.
On Sunday, the Rattlers edged North Okanagan No. 2, 5-4.
Anderson, with two, Millan Webster, Dalton Fink, Kenzie and Luken Murray had the goals. Hunchak again was in goal.
The Rattlers have completed their regular season and now wait to see you they will face in zone playoffs that are scheduled for this weekend.

BANTAM
The Kamloops Rattlers won the bronze medal at the Langley Thunder ‘A’ tournament on the weekend.
Josh Bosher scored four goals as Kamloops opened with an 11-1 victory over Semiahmoo. Brenden Bickert, with three, Kaiden Merz, Anthony Matusiak, Braden Nicklas and Ty Robinson also scored.
In their second game, the Rattlers got two goals from each of Bickert and Kordell Primus in beating Ridge Meadows, 6-5. Merz and Bosher also scored.
The Rattlers then got five goals from Matusiak in a 12-5 victory over Langley. Karsten Huth and Merz, each with two, Nicklas, Ryan Dergousoff and Bosher had the other goals.
In their fourth game, the Rattlers dropped a 7-5 decision to Vancouver. Matusiak, with two, Merz, Bosher and Nicklas had the Kamloops goals.
In their final game, the Rattlers dumped Langley, 7-5, with Bosher scoring four times. Matusiak, Primus and Merz also scored.
Ethan Milobar and Paige Dairon handled the Rattlers’ goaltending chores through the weekend.

Nate Van Unen scored three times to lead the Kamloops Rattlers No. 2 to a 6-1 victory over Kelowna No. 2 on Saturday at Memorial Arena to wrap up play in the Thompson Okanagan leaguye’s tyke division.
Logan Krug and Max Angove also scored for the Rattlers in support of winning goaltender Jordin Hardy.
