This year’s Kids of Steel triathlon celebrates a decade of promoting fitness among young people as well as the fact it has the most participants yet.
A total of 210 people have signed on for this year’s event, taking place Sunday at the Brock pool.
Participants are coming from the Okanagan, Interior, Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island.
Some of the streets around Brocklehurst are being used for the race, so drivers in the area are asked to be careful.
This year’s announcer is local triathlete Charlie Bruce.
