It's a good reminder during this time of year when the rains come, that many local creeks act as storm-sewer run-off streams and flush whatever sort of home-care, car-care, and lawn-care products we use 'down the drain' and into the Thompson River, a vital salmon river and home to countless other species. I can't imagine that that white foam — usually caused by some sort of human-made detergent — is very good fish food. Please remember: we are all connected.
