A woman was grabbed twice before finally escaping an attempted abduction Monday afternoon in the 1200 block of 12th Street.
The 25-year-old was walking when a white vehicle approached and a female passenger asked her to get inside. When she refused, the male driver got out, grabbed her and directed her to the vehicle, police said in a press release.
She broke free and was grabbed a second time by the driver. She freed herself again and ran to safety.
The woman told police she did not know the assailants.
The vehicle is described as a white four-door mid-'90s sedan. The female suspect is described as caucasian, in her late 30s to early 40s, heavy set, with brown hair with multi-coloured highlights. The male suspect was also caucasian, heavy set with bright blue eyes, a brush cut, and a two-day beard growth.
