We were in Saskatchewan when we got an email saying the Merritt Mountain Music Festival was cancelled.
I phoned our credit card company right away on May 23. They said because it was past the 90 days to dispute the charge they could not do anything about it.
I asked if I could talk to someone higher up. When someone came on the line I told her the situation. She said because it was a special occurrence there should be no problem.
I couldn’t give her the date I bought the tickets or amount. She went through each month until she found it. She said it would take four to six weeks for the refund.
When we got home there was a letter in the mail dated May 31 that our account was credited with the amount.
