In another 30-plus game Tuesday, Jay's Service downed Piva Financial 2-1. Mark Mackenzie and Roy Styles had the goals for Jay's, with Don Horning replying for Piva.

PacificSport Interior B.C. has announced a partnership with a local company.
PacificSport, "a non-profit organization dedicated to the development of sport and performance programs and services for athletes and coaches at all levels," according to a press release, has partnered with Kamloops Hot Yoga.
The partnership will offer PacificSport Interior's participating athletes the chance to do hot yoga, which is said to improve physical and mental performance in many ways, including strength, endurance, flexibility and focus.

Alyssa Human of Kamloops is tied for 28th after two rounds at B.C. Golf's Women's Amateur Championship in Christina Lake.
Human opened with a nine-over 81 on Tuesday before shooting 76 on Wednesday. Human was four-over through seven holes in her second round, but made three birdies, three bogeys and five pars over her final 11 holes.
Round 3 is scheduled for today, before Friday's final round.
Christine Wong of Richmond posted a three-under 69 on Wednesday to move into the tournament lead. Wong, who is at five-under 139, is a stroke ahead of three golfers — Port Coquitlam's Soo-Bin Kim (70-70), Kelowna's Kyla Inaba (69-71) and Surrey's A Ram Choi (67-73).
Madison Kapchinsky of Kelowna, who has won the past three Kamloops Junior Girls Golf Championships, is 11th after going 72-74. Another Kelowna woman, Megan Osland, is tied for eighth after posting 72-73.

The undefeated Kamloops Heat men's soccer team will be back on the pitch Thursday.
The Heat, which is 5-0-2 in Pacific Coast Soccer League reserve men's play, is to play host to the Penticton Pinnacles today, 8 p.m., at Hillside Stadium. The game was originally to have been played on April 28, but was postponed.
Kamloops' roster is made up mostly of future, current or past TRU WolfPack players, but will be facing one of its own in Penticton's goal. Travis Froehlich, the WolfPack's starting goalkeeper, has been spending the summer playing with the Pinnacles.
After Thursday night's match, the Heat will be at home to Chilliwack FC on Sunday, 2 p.m., at Hillside.
Meanwhile, the Heat women's premier squad, which hasn't played since June 23, is headed west for a pair of weekend games.
The Heat (3-3-2), is scheduled to play the Fraser Valley Action on Saturday in Langley, before taking on the North Shore Eagles in North Vancouver on Sunday. Kamloops also will be on the road Wednesday, when it is to take on Okanagan FC in Kelowna.
