Sixty years ago, the first class to spend their entire senior year at the new Mount Baker High School graduated.
Now, those students are reuniting here in Cranbrook to share memories and catch up on what life held for them after they left those halls.
From August 14 to 15, about 35 of the graduating class of 1952 will gather in Cranbrook for their 60-year high school reunion.
Over three days, the group will tour their old high school, visit the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel, share a dinner at the Bavarian Chalet, and have a backyard barbecue.
Class members will journey from as far as Alaska and California for the reunion.
If you were part of the class and you are yet to register for the reunion, please contact Lyn Luxton at 250-489-4881.
