    Roses & Thorns

A stage full of roses from Wendy to Project X for James and the Giant Peach, perfectly adapted for the young and young at heart. The homemade-style props and staging entranced our granddaughters, backyard play-actors themselves. The audience was immediately held captive. .After the hilarious cast was introduced the Young Boy called out, "And who am I?" "JAMES!" roared the answer. Thank you to everyone involved.

An ambulance full of roses from Bill to the staff at the Canada Games pool. On July 14, he saw a small boy fall and strike his head who was then rescued by pool staff. The young boy fell and was underwater for a brief period when the lifeguard sounded her whistle and responded to his plight. Although it was scary watching someone being saved, I found it extremely remarkable how the lifeguards responded as a team and came to the boy’s rescue. “Truly worth an ambulance full of roses to the pool staff.”
