Bikers rev engines for Barriere food bank

Bikers of all stripes are gearing up for an important fundraiser on Sept. 8 for the Barriere Food Bank.

The Saturday event is the annual Thunder Alley Toy Run and Party, which begins at 11 a.m. in the AG Foods parking lot in Barriere.

The actual toy run starts at noon and goes until 1:30 p.m., after which there will be bike games.

At 6 p.m., the public is invited to a party featuring the band The Kin. Tickets are $30, with proceeds to the food bank.

For more information, call Barb at 250-318-7239.
