New bus-stop benches the stupidest ever

Congratulations to City council on installing the stupidest bus stop benches I have ever seen. They are much smaller than the old ones, which cannot be denied as many of the old benches haven't been removed yet so the comparison is very clear.

They have dividers, which I personally can't understand why anyone would feel a divider is necessary on a bus stop bench, unless I guess you are absolutely terrified of human contact. That inch-high concrete divider just takes up space on the bench as well as restricting how much room you have.

Many individuals who ride the bus are older or have young children and these people may need some extra space or just need to rest at the stop, but if there are three or more people at a stop only three can sit.

I bet if you had given me the money the company received to build these genius innovations I could have purchased the supplies and built much more practical benches.

I probably would have even met the deadline. And I'm no carpenter. But hey, I'm just an average citizen, what do I know? I'm sure when Mr. Milobar or the other Councillors are waiting for the bus on the way to city hall (which I'm sure many of them do), sit down and think, 'Wow, my butt fits perfectly between these dividers'. Hah, yeah right.
Next time, don't waste our money on these idiot "improvements."
