A newspaper telling a political party how they should campaign shows its true intent. Corporate apologists, I think.
Taxpayers know the B.C. Liberals have done their best to bankrupt the coffers, while enriching the corporate bottom line. More than $50 billion in projected debt by 2017, from P3s and independent power producers alone.
This while gutting B.C. Hydro, insuring we buy unneeded power back at super-inflated rates. Putting in smart meters made in China and good for five years, while trashing the original Canadian meters that last 20 years plus. (Where's Bennett on this support of Communism?) They did manage to get rid of unionized B.C. jobs, though, which after all is their number one priority.
Can see why Falcon is going to private industry, he must have built up major points awarding billions of our dollars to private interests, similar to Campbell who got paid off by Harper for adding seven per cent tax to 20 per cent of things that were never taxed.
This is why we hate the HST — added taxes on things that were never taxed. For most businesses it is probably a great idea in principle, but when the rollout is once again a screw-the-little-guy scheme by this bunch, of course it will be hated.
The demise of this party is more than warranted. I can’t help but wonder if all the departing MLAs this past week were taking a shot at Premier Christy Clark, as they all quoted "family" for the reason they were leaving. Not staying for "families-first" mandate?
I guess the implosion is revealing the cracks in the B.C. Liberal sheen.
Why would any news outlet try to coach such a failed regime?
