A 64-year-old man accused of murdering a woman near Princeton last November will be moved to the Kamloops Regional Correctional Centre after saying he fears for his life in jail.
Roger Badour appeared in Penticton provincial court via video link from the North Fraser Pretrial Centre in Prince George, saying he's constantly being threatened and assaulted by another inmate and pleaded for the judge to move him.
Judge Gregory Koturbash agreed to recommend Badour be transferred before his next video court appearance, expected Wednesday.
Badour is charged in the shooting death of 56-year-old Gisele Duckham, whose body was discovered in her home in November of last year.
