This is the same Cliff Neufeld (“TRU workers need to cover cost of living increases, too,” The Daily News, Aug. 27) who, when presented with (and nixing) an equitable payment plan for staff parking (a percentage of each person's wage), basically said that it should rightly be based on household income and not just the earnings of the TRU staff member. Because, you know, the whole freaking family is going to park on TRU property.
It's this kind of muddled thinking that sees TRU as the post-secondary institution that most relies on student/staff fees to survive, compared to all other post-sec institutions in B.C.
