After reading excellent letters to the editor, many of them against the mine for environmental reasons, I am concluding that there is a great portion of our Kamloops population (taxpayers) who are silent, quiet people who would like a vote as to whether this mine should be allowed to invade our neighbourhoods with its pollution. We need to stand up and let them know we are here and don’t want that giant hole in our midst. Let’s go Kamloops!
