Not enough being done for the gov’t little guy

George MacMinn gets a $500,000 consulting fee upon his retirement. Craig James claims $43,000 in travel expenses after only a short time as the figurehead of Elections B.C.

I put in 28 years as a full-time paramedic with the provincial ambulance service and never even got a thank-you letter from this group in Victoria.

When I retired in 2002, I emailed our local MLA and suggested that it would be a nice gesture if they provided a letter to all retiring paramedics. Kevin, I am still waiting for an answer.

The only thing they did do wasn’t for me but to me and many other retirees. They cut back the benefits we received when we retired. This was done in this government's first term and, yes, I have a long memory when it comes to this kind of largesse paid out to these persons and nothing to the many who serve this province in other ways.

Best wishes to the Liberals when election time rolls around and you are all sitting around wondering what happened. Enjoy your pensions, payouts, etc.
