Participants in the third annual Parkinson SuperWalk in Kamloops helped raise more than $31,000 Saturday, just shy of their goal of $35,000.
Cadets from the Rocky Mountain Rangers and Black Maria air squadron joined football players from the Kamloops Broncos and members of the Kamloops Mounted Patrol as they cheered about 250 walkers in Riverside Park.
The money will go toward research as well as Parkinson's support groups.
