First-aid crews to compete in Kamloops

Actors performing on movie-like sets will add an extra layer of realism to the 21st Provincial First Aid Competition.

First-aid teams from across the province are in town Saturday for the event, with three challenges designed to test their abilities to help people in serious distress. Teams will compete for the title of best overall team, best first-aider and best captain.

The public is invited to come and watch. The event takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the City maintenance yard at 955 Concordia Way.
