Mine showdown a 'must see' — bring popcorn

So, are you with the pro-Ajax Mine crowd or the anti-Ajax Mine crowd? What a kerfuffle. In one corner we have the Ajax Mine giant weighing in at a whopping KGHM-backed billion-dollar-plus club sponsorship, and going up against?

And by the way, before the big showdown, the Ajax Mine giant was seen locally, gobbling up the Sugarloaf Ranch for $20 million plus — more carbohydrates.

Officiating the big event? Well that's no other than the good folks of the B.C. Environmental Assessment Office. The rules and regulations for this particular engagement will soon be out and stated clearly, by the end of December 2012 or early 2013.

Either way, this promises to be a local Kamloops spectacle. So, stay tuned and don't touch that remote. Good times are a coming. Bring the popcorn.

So, what you going to do when a 23-year mine life comes for you?
Can you spell out B.C.'s next mining boomtown?
