Have a beer and learn about global connections

Anyone wanting to make a global connection with local people and organizations is invited to the Frik and Frack Tap House on Wednesday night.

Hosted by the Kamloops Global Awareness Network, the International Development Drinks night is a casual gathering of those who want to chat or debate with others who are passionate about working, volunteering or learning more about international development.

There will be brief presentations by speakers throughout the evening and free appetizers for those who arrive early. The event takes place from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at 577 Victoria St.

The Kamloops Global Awareness Network is a made up of individuals and non-government organizations working together to promote international development, effectiveness and social justice.
