Royal Inland Hospital staff made stay 'a little more bearable'

While hunting on the other side of Lac La Hache, my 15-year-old daughter flipped a go-cart. It landed on her arm, breaking a bone in half. She was transferred from 100 Mile Hospital to Kamloops.

The bone came through the skin, requiring emergency surgery. After her surgery, she was recovering on Royal Inland Hospital’s 5 South.

We are very grateful for the kind and helpful staff on 5 South. We were there for a couple of days, so it wasn’t just a few nurses that cared for my daughter. They were all great. The residents of Kamloops should be grateful to have such a clean and friendly health-care facility.

Right from the day-surgery staff to all the nurses, they always came in with a smile and were willing to help out in any way. For all they see, I don’t know how they do it.

Thank you for making our stay a little more bearable.
