Neighbourhood getting busier as density increases

Fernie Road residents, have you had a chance to spend time in the area? I purchased my
duplex on Fernie Place 10 years ago, before Guerin Creek Estates. It used to be a quiet
    neighbourhood.

I agree with the “Mario Andretti speedway” comparison. The traffic, especially in the last month, seems to have doubled, if not tripled, and motorists are speeding their way up and down our road. Most do not stop at the stop sign at the bottom, but blow right through.

I have often commented that the City should put in a speed bump to make the motorists to slow down!

I can relate to Yukino Negi’s anxiety of her children playing. I fear for them too. I have seen them out playing and riding their bikes. One day one of the vehicles that blow the stop sign will hit one of her children. I hate to see what it is going to be like when the 12 units are built. Thank you very much City council!

Perhaps Ken, Nancy, Tina, Donovan, Marg, and Peter would like to give out their addresses so that I can drive past their house, at all hours, so that they can experience the noise and disturbance while trying to sit in their living room, take a walk, or sleep at night.
