    Don't forget NDP's fast-boat 'ferry fiasco'

Will the ghost ship of the NDP be remembered on voting day? It was the chief reason, at that particular B.C. juncture of time, that B.C. voters put the Liberals into power.  This was the infamous NDP fast-boat ferries fiasco.

At NDP Glen Clark’s leadership, and after his over-expenditure of several hundred million dollars taken from the B.C. taxpayers’ pockets, the NDP were to receive a resounding defeat handed to them province-wide by the Liberals, whom were then voted into power.

And this NDP financial nightmare was to get even worse for the B.C. taxpayers.

The Liberals at that time were tasked with the ominous duty to then advertise all three of these NDP fast ferries for sale.

The best the Liberals could get for three NDP fast ferries was an insulting 20 million dollars. Now you talk about an additional insult to injury for the B.C. taxpayer. Yes, NDP’s Glen Clark and his ferry fiasco made national news and this situation sunk Glen Clark’s dream straight down to the bottom of all time with the B.C. voters.

The Liberals have been in the leadership role since. Keep those jobs coming, Christy! And thanks for opening up the B.C. mining sector to more transparency, and less red tape. This has resulted in a good many jobs created and BIG money for B.C.
