Can't trust info coming from Ajax

    K. Bach is straining to convince us that Ajax is a source of information that can be trusted and unbiased (Support Ajax In Principle, But Not At Public Forums, The Daily News, Sept. 20).

Strict guidelines and policies “set in place.” What nonsense! Evil Aberdeen pavement and driveways in the same breath as the desolation a mine will bring. He even imagines that the landscape will be returned to its pristine state after the mining is done. Except that all the dirt dredged up will be spread around nicely laced with the arsenic the mine has brought to the surface. Anybody want to eat the garden veggies that will produce?

No mention of the river of water daily pulled out of Kamloops Lake to keep the dust down. Enough to decimate the already struggling salmon runs that come at the river’s lowest level. We need to keep our river full. Not reduce it to a brook.
