The trial of a Merritt woman accused of murder began in B.C. Supreme Court Monday with jury selection in Kamloops.
Janice Nielsen, 41, stands charged with second-degree murder in the death of her husband, Tracy Charters. Charters died on May 21, 2010, after he was stabbed in the home the couple shared in Merritt.
Opening arguments in the case are expected to begin Oct. 9.
