Remember Margaret Thatcher, Britain’s Iron Lady?

Well, we’re not Britain but we are named British Columbia. So, what do we have? We have our own Iron Lady — Christy Clark.

Enbridge pipeline and Alberta, watch out. B.C.’s Iron Lady says be prepared to pay up, if you want to play in our backyard, and by the way, rightly so.

Clark has cleared away the red tape and added more transparency to the mining approval process in B.C. The result is obvious, B.C. investment and jobs.

Clark diligently fostered and worked at the relationship building that resulted in an $8-billion, eight-year ship-building procurement contract for B.C. The result — 4,040 direct and indirect jobs have been promised.

Clark has also seen some of her cabinet take their leave or retire. The result, again our own Iron Lady. Clark remains rock solid.

    Keep those jobs coming, Christy.
