Missing 14-year-olds return after stay in the woods

'Hungry, tired and dirty but otherwise unharmed'

Two 14-year-olds who went missing Monday are safely at home after pre-arranging their return Thursday afternoon with family members, Kamloops RCMP said.

Parents became worried when Catherine Martin and Keenan Warren failed to contact them or show up for any of their regular activities.

"They had been staying out in various wooded areas around the city and were hungry, tired and dirty but otherwise unharmed," police said.

Counsellors were on hand for their arrival.
