Not seen a bear in city in 16 years

We would definitely support a later garbage pickup!

As a retired old man, making me get up at 4 a.m. (I have slept in to 8 a.m. and missed the garbage pick-up, so I have to wait another week and I am already overflowing) does not thrill me!

And I have never seen a bear yet in 16 years that I have lived here in Kamloops! I think a pickup in our area, Campbell Creek, at around 10 a.m. would be a lot more convenient for most.

The bears cannot tell the time. I have heard that some areas have seen bears at all times of the early morning and evening.

So may I suggest a shift to 10 a.m. to 4 p.m? That way there would be no food out in the early morning or evening to attract the bears.
