B.C. Supreme Court endorsed an arrest warrant Tuesday for a witness needed in a trial.
Emil Tralnberg is expected to testify in the trial of Brandon Schell, who faces charges including attempted murder, extortion, using a restricted firearm and aggravated assault.
Crown prosecutor Don Mann said the witness was served with a subpoena but failed to communicate or report.
Schell’s three-day is scheduled to begin today.
A co-accused, Trevor Taylor, was originally supposed to be tried along with Schell. However, Taylor entered a guilty plea Tuesday to a single count of obstruction of justice. He is scheduled for sentencing at a later date.
