There are four new faces among the Kamloops Arts Council board of directors following the group’s annual general meeting.
They include Bonnie McLean, dance instructor and Zombie Walk host; Glenn Hilke, experimental community artist and instructor; Jo Wyers, a local artist; Jody Tippett, a social justice activist; and Michael O’Brien, co-owner of 4Cats Arts Studio.
Rhona Armes, Michelle Finlayson, Glen Mantie, Hope Mikal, Thor Fridriksson and Wenda Noonan return to the board. The meeting took place Oct. 9.
The aim of the Kamloops Arts Council is to encourage and promote quality and high standards in the arts and within the arts community.
